This policy explains what personal data the CancerAsk website (cancerask.com) collects, why, how long it is kept, and the rights you have. It is written to be consistent with the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) and its implementing regulations.
CancerAsk is a health-education website. Patients outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia can book an online consultation call through Calendly (see below). The website does not offer symptom checkers or patient message forms, and it does not ask for your health information. Please do not send medical information or personal health details to us by email, in a booking form, or through any form on this site.

We do not sell personal data, use it for advertising, or use it to make automated decisions about you.
This website does not use analytics, advertising trackers, tracking pixels, or social-media plugins, and it does not set cookies. Because no non-essential cookies are used, no cookie-consent banner is shown. If this changes, we will update this policy and ask for your consent before any non-essential cookie is set.
The Calendly booking window loads only when you click a "Book a call" link. Calendly may then set its own cookies and receives your IP address and browser information. See Calendly's privacy notice.
Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. When your browser downloads them, Google receives your IP address and browser information as part of that request. See Google's privacy policy.
We share personal data only with the service providers needed to run this website, and only as far as necessary:

These providers process data outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia: the website server is located in Singapore (Vultr), email is stored in Switzerland (Proton Mail), and Google Fonts and Calendly operate from the United States and other countries. Where personal data is transferred outside the Kingdom, we do so only as permitted by the PDPL and its regulations on cross-border transfers, and only to the extent necessary for the purposes above.

The website is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection and access to the data above is restricted to Dr. Zubair Ali. If a personal-data breach occurs, we will notify the competent authority and affected individuals as required by law.
This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
